Do the Work

This Christian life doesn’t just happen overnight. It is a day-to-day journey of growing and strengthening our faith, expanding our knowledge of the word of God, and getting to know the ways of God on a more personal level.

God created us to be in relationship with Him and to likewise be in relationship with each other. The world needs to see this process. The world needs to see that living this Christian life is doable. The Bible says in John 13:34-35:

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” Notice the word says that the way in which the world will know we are truly God’s disciples; by the love we have for one another.

As Christians, we will never get to the place of being a “Perfect Christian.” Truth be told, this Christian life can seem difficult at times. As humans, we experience the same emotions, struggles, disappointments, and conflicts as anyone else.

However, the difference is, as Christians, we can get our answers to life’s challenges thru the word of God and our relationship with Him. It is important that people see this process to know that living this Christian life is one that can be done.

Christians come from all different backgrounds and life’s experiences. The challenges we face are as varied as our backgrounds. One of the best things we can give other people is our authenticity in our daily Christian walk.
